Medicare Rebates
- Medicare rebates apply for eligible patients who hold a valid GP or specialist referral. Rebates are processed on the day of your appointment.
- The Medicare rebate applicable to your consultation will depend on the item number assigned, which is determined by the type and duration of your appointment.
- Telehealth consultations are also eligible for Medicare rebates.
- Please contact us or visit the Medicare Benefits Schedule website for current rebate amounts.
Do I need a referral?
- A referral from your GP or specialist is required to access Medicare rebates. Without a referral, consultations are still available but no Medicare rebate will apply.
- GP referrals are valid for 12 months for an initial consultation and ongoing treatment. Specialist referrals are valid for 3 months.
- If you are unsure whether you need a referral, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
Payment & Cancellations
- Payment is required on the day of your appointment. We accept EFTPOS, credit card, and bank transfer.
- Medicare rebates are processed electronically at the time of payment where possible.
- We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a cancellation fee.
